It’s been six weeks since I started this journey with a faceless account and I’m not about to gatekeep so it saves you time!
1️⃣ Using others’ growth as a benchmark
👉🏻 It can be hard seeing everybody else flashing their income claims in a short time when you’re just starting out. It increases self doubt and affects your authenticity because you think that you need to succumb to this “norm”. Just because you take longer, doesn’t mean its not working!
2️⃣ Consume content aimlessly
👉🏻 It’s so easy to scroll and get carried away sometimes, make sure to only engage with accounts that are in your industry and also your target niche! That way you won’t confuse your algorithm
3️⃣ Trying EVERY IG growth tip on explore page
👉🏻 They spin your head round & round! I tried all of them, and none of them work like it promises in the hook. I don’t mean that they’re lies, what I’m saying is there is NO GUARANTEE that it works for you so don’t get disheartened
4️⃣ Trying to revive a 5 year old account
👉🏻 Instead of hitting the ground running, I found myself stumbling over outdated strategies and no engagement. You see, I tried to revive an old business account that I had let sit for five long years, thinking it could be the springboard to my success. But let me tell you, that wasn’t the case. I truly felt I was being shadowed, so I was nudged to start a new account and it’s one of the best choices I’ve made.
