Homemade Dog Food ✨
1 small roll of ground Turkey
1 regular size box [ 32 oz] of Beef or Chicken Both ( I use Walmart’s Brand)
1 bag of Frozen Peas and Carrots
1 bag of Frozen Sweet Potatoes or Butternut Squash
1/2 teaspoon of Ginger and Turmeric
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
1/2 can ( 15 oz) of Pumpkin Purée ( not pumpkin pie )
Salt and Pepper ( measure with your heart, but light on the pepper.. you need just enough to activate the Turmeric)
1 cup of rice.. you can use instant if you like. I use organic brown rice. ( 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice and cook for 40 minutes).
Brown the Turkey with Avocado Oil, Salt and Pepper.
Add in the frozen veggies, put the lid on and let steam for a few minutes, then add entire box of broth , along with the spices and pumpkin and bring to a boil. Once it’s boiling I turn off the heat and add my cooked rice. Once it’s cooled you can store it in the refrigerator and pull out each day the amount you want to feed your pet. Enjoy❤️❤️❤️
