Please stop bringing your pets into walmart. Walmart is NOT pet friendly, they legally cannot allow pets due to FDA health codes because they sell food items. Bringing your pet into walmart is beyond selfish and just shows what an entitled ignorant person you are taking advantage of the lack of enforcement. Your not only endangering servicr dog teams and the public but your putting your own pet in an unnecessarily risky and potentially harmful situation. On top of that walmart has a specific sign stating no animals in a cart and that only service animals are allowed on the enterances of their stores. Not to mention once you bring your pet into a non pet friendly place your automatically assuming them to be a service animal, and misrepresenting a service animal is also claiming to have a disability. Both of those things are legitimate crimes. And you may think thats it but theres more. Did you know that intentionally distracting a service animal is a misdemeanor and in some states can even be a felony? Your pet in a non pet friendly place is a risk and distraction to service dogs and their handlers. Please if your not going to do it to follow rules, policies, laws, health codes, and to protect the public and service dog teams then please do it to protect your pet from unnecessary harm.

I hate when people take advantage of the fact that employees can’t legally ask if your dog is a service animal. I’m sorry you run into this issue so often!
