For my personality, I need some kind of “goal” to work towards and “accountability partners” to help keep me motivated. Maybe not the most motivational, but on here, I’m striving for reality 😜
My physical, mental and spiritual well-being has never been priority. It’s always a “when I have time,” I’ll worry about it. We’re getting closer and closer to another year alive (my Jesus year, this year. I heard someone else say that and I absolutely LOVED it 😍) and I want to be intentional about loving and caring for myself physically, mentally and spiritually. I also know, realistically, I’m not going to go out and train for a marathon or suddenly become a weightlifter (goals one day)but I can still make an impact doing small things in my every day life.
If you’d like to follow along and be an accountability partner…I would be BEYOND grateful. 🙌🏼 If you’re interested in doing it with me, we start today!! If you need to tweak this to fit your lifestyle/faith, please feel free! 💛
My goal at the end of this is to stay intentional, understand my “why” and start viewing discipline and determination, in a positive way.
Even if this isn’t your cup of tea, I’d like you to remember one thing….
✨You are AH-MAZING!!!✨
Life is HARD sometimes and seems unfair when we work hard for something we don’t receive or achieve. It can lead to becoming discouraged and thinking why bother? Thinking we’re not “good enough.” YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH, you are deserving of love and I am so proud of who you are working to become.
If no one’s told you today…I LOVE YOU and I’M SO PROUD OF YOU!! I’m in your corner cheering and praying for you and all your goals and dreams!!
... Read moreFalling in love with life again is a journey, not a destination, and it truly starts with embracing a holistic approach to our well-being. When I started my own '30-Day Reset,' I realized how interconnected everything is – our physical health impacts our mental clarity, and our spiritual life gives us meaning. It's about nurturing every part of ourselves, not just one.
For me, strengthening my spiritual core has been an absolute game-changer. Dedicating time to daily prayers and Bible reading isn't just a ritual; it's a way to cultivate a deeper sense of peace and purpose. It helps me focus on what truly matters, fostering a rich connection not only with my faith but also with myself. And honestly, those weekly moments of reflection, whether in confession or mass, offer a profound sense of renewal and self-acceptance. It’s like hitting a reset button for my soul, allowing me to let go of burdens and step forward with greater clarity and grace. These practices really help in finding that 'meaning' I often crave.
Taking care of my body has also become a priority, and it's not about perfection, but about respect. The 'no processed sugar/fast food' rule isn't about deprivation; it's about fueling my body with goodness and noticing how much better I feel. Coupled with daily physical activity, like aiming for 10,000 steps, it's incredible how much energy and positivity it brings. It's not about becoming a marathon runner overnight, but showing up for myself in small, consistent ways. This mindful movement and eating truly contribute to a sense of 'holistic' wellness and foster deeper 'self-acceptance' for the body I have.
Moreover, creating healthy mental and emotional boundaries has been crucial for my healing. Limiting screen time, especially before bed, has dramatically improved my sleep and reduced feelings of overwhelm. And those morning routines? They're my sacred time. Whether it's quiet reflection, journaling, or a gentle stretch, starting the day with intention sets a positive tone. Self-care isn't selfish; it's essential for recharging our emotional batteries and allowing us to connect authentically with others and ourselves. This intentional living helps navigate the 'get in loser we're healing and falling in love with life again' mindset, embracing the journey with purpose.
This journey of healing and falling in love with life again is deeply personal, but it thrives on 'rich connection' and 'intention.' Knowing my 'why' keeps me going, and having a supportive community (like you all!) makes all the difference. It's okay to have days where you stumble; the key is to get back up and remember that you are worthy of all the love and care you give yourself. Every small step is a victory on the path to holistic well-being and genuine self-acceptance. Keep going, you've got this!
