So basically, i quit my job…

I started working at a young age, and continued on up until recently, in management and HR fields.

Over the course of 14 years, I worked days, nights, overnights. 12/13/14 hour days and 50-80 hour work weeks. I came from a very low income background and my way “out” was by throwing myself into work and creating a name for myself.

50-80 work weeks, eventually catch up with you and burn out is a very REAL thing!! People always told me to slow down or I’d get burned out, but I thought I could do it all. I did for a while…until I couldn’t anymore.

A little over a year ago, I quit my job at a Fortune 500 Company and started a business! I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew what I wanted my end goal to be. Freedom and wealth for my family and I.

I watched so many YouTube videos, scoured the internet for articles or books on building and growing a business. I read anything and everything I could get my hands on. I learned how to do my own marketing and ads, created a brand and social media presence, drew up contracts, (thanks canva 😝) business cards, flyers and advertised through word of mouth.

Fast forward to a year later (really less than that, because I took a few months off) my business has already outgrown my timeline! I need to sit down and map out my expected growth and updated timeline, here soon!

All of the pictures above, may seem small, but these were all things that I could never do while working a traditional 9-5!

If you’re wondering if you should take the leap, I say do your research and GO FOR IT!!! Life is meant to be lived, not merely survived!

Good luck ❤️

(Don’t come for me with the duck lips peace sign….I’m a millennial 😝)
