When making a spell jar, choosing the right ingredients is essential. Common components include herbs, crystals, oils, and tiny charms, each corresponding to the desired outcome. For example, cinnamon or basil might be added for wealth, rose petals for love and beauty, or lavender for calm and protection. I often write affirmations or intentions on small pieces of paper to include inside the jar, further focusing my energy. One practical tip is to cleanse your space and materials before starting to ensure purity of the spell's energy. You can do this by burning sage or palo santo. During the assembly, it helps to visualize the desired outcome clearly and maintain positive thoughts, as the intention fuels the spell’s effectiveness. Spell jars can be placed in personal spaces, carried around, or hidden in meaningful locations to continually attract the energy you seek. Over time, I've noticed these rituals help me stay connected to my goals, reminding me to act in alignment with the intentions I set.
