unironically my most popular post. people were not gappy about my prices back then and probably wont be with what i have goin on now.

real irony is ive always had my prices start at $5. its my stuff thats me being more of a perfectionist that cost more money

tho my favorite thing is people somehow thinking i was lying about ever having clients and i had any idea how many ive had. i still dunno that number. but like, some people genuinely thought i didnt ever get any clients.

but if you wanna commission me their all available on vgen, i do a lotta stuff and keep things as affordable as i can with the prices being based off how much of a perfectionist am i going to be with this piece

Many artists, like the one discussed here, set starting prices as low as $5 for simpler pieces, which makes custom art accessible to many. However, the pricing can vary significantly depending on the complexity and time taken to perfect the piece. For example, full-body paintings may cost around $120, with an additional $30 charged for detailed backgrounds, as seen in the pricing shared by this artist on TikTok under the handle @sherikookami. It's also common for artists to receive skepticism from some who doubt their client base or experience. In reality, successful artists often work with numerous clients over time, even if they don't keep exact counts. The key is that they maintain transparency and openness about commissions, providing potential customers with clear options to reach out and request artwork based on their budget and needs. Platforms like VGEN offer artists a space to showcase their work and manage commissions in a way that's accessible and convenient. Artists value affordability but also want to reflect the quality and time invested in each piece, which is why prices can scale with the artist's perfectionism or the piece's requirements. When commissioning art, clients should communicate clearly about their expectations, budget, and the desired level of detail. This helps artists provide accurate quotes and deliver work that meets satisfaction. Additionally, supporting independent artists helps nurture creativity and enables them to continue sharing authentic and unique pieces. If you're considering commissioning art, exploring portfolios on platforms like VGEN and social media shows not only pricing but also styles and specialties of different artists. This understanding can lead to a great artist-client relationship and satisfaction with the commissioned artwork.
