This morning I opened Canva, ready to design something… and immediately forgot what I wanted to create.
Just staring at the blank canvas like:

I’ve had that happen before, but today it really hit hard. Honestly, I almost closed the app and moved on.

1. I picked two fonts I liked. Just two — keeping it simple makes the whole thing feel less chaotic.
2. I chose a small color palette. Around 3–4 colors max. Enough for variety, but not enough to get overwhelmed.
3. I figured out the vibe.
I wanted something clean and calm today — so that helped me make quicker decisions.
4. I sketched a quick layout.
Nothing fancy. Just a loose plan so I wasn’t designing from scratch in my head.
That tiny bit of prep made it so much easier to actually start.
