Starting My First Real Canva Project...
Hello everyone!
I have an idea.
Iāve always had a hard time staying organizedā but not for lack of trying. I want to be the person with the color-coded planner and neatly mapped out days. And believe me, Iāve tried.
But my brain doesnāt seem to work like that⦠at least not with any of the planners Iāve used.
Iāve bounced between paper planners, digital apps, and random printablesāconstantly searching for something to help me feel more grounded and structured. But nothing ever really fit. Some were too overwhelming. Others were too bare. Most just didnāt match what I needed day to day.
Lately, with everything Iāve got going on, Iāve been feeling especially scattered. Like I need somethingāanythingāto help me see things clearly and make the most of my time.
So this morning, I decided:
If I canāt find a planner that works for me, maybe I should just make my own.
Iāve been slowly getting more comfortable with Canva, and Iāve been looking for a ārealā project to help me practice. So why not design something that fits the way I functionāsomething simple, flexible, and easy to stick with?
So here it is: my first official design projectāa personal planner, built from scratch, page by page.
Iāll be sharing the whole process right here: what Iām designing, why Iām designing it, and whatās helping me stay on track.
Iām starting with the pages I know I need most, but if thereās something youāve always wished a planner had, feel free to drop it in the commentsāI might add it in as a bonus later on!

I want to try to make planners on canva too but my access is mostly on the phone. Is it easier to design on a computer? I have barely messed with it.
