I recently learned about this incredible practice that the Prophet (PBUH) himself encouraged. It's for when you've 'just finished salah' – specifically, after Fajr and Maghrib prayers. The key is to recite it while still 'in this position' of 'tashahhud', and the instruction is clear: 'don't move' from your prayer spot before saying it. It's meant to be recited '10 times' after each of these two prayers. The dhikr itself is: 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.' This beautiful phrase means: 'There is no god but Allah, Alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things competent.' The OCR highlighted parts like 'لَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ لَهُ الْمُلْك، وَلَهُ هُوَ عَلَى كُلَّ' which resonates with this profound declaration of Allah's Oneness and power. The 'Prophet said' that 'whoever says' this dhikr under these conditions will be blessed with immense rewards. For each recitation after Fajr and Maghrib, '10 good deeds will be recorded', '10 sins will be forgiven', and he'll be raised 'in 10 ranks'. Can you imagine the spiritual boost from just a few minutes of extra remembrance? It’s truly a way to be among the 'best people' in terms of actions! But 'that's not all'! This dhikr also acts as 'a shield from all' evil, including the whispers of 'the shaitan'. 'And no sin' can 'reach him' that day, 'except for shirk' (associating partners with Allah), which is the greatest sin. This protection is so vital in our daily lives, safeguarding our faith and well-being. It highlights the power of consistent remembrance and seeking refuge in Allah. To make sure you don't miss out, try to set a mental reminder the moment you finish your taslim in Fajr and Maghrib prayers. Your 'intention' is crucial here – sincerely striving to please Allah and earn these rewards. I always try to 'read this' with focus and presence of mind. It’s a small effort for such extraordinary blessings. Let's make it a habit, after 'every fajr' and 'every maghrib', and 'inshallah' (God willing), 'me and you will be rewarded' abundantly. This particular dhikr is a gem, specifically highlighted for its unique timing and blessings. While many dhikrs can be recited after Salah, the condition of 'not moving' from your 'tashahhud' position adds an extra layer of dedication. It’s a moment of focused, uninterrupted devotion directly following the prayer itself. This practice is a beautiful example of how Islam encourages us to maximize our spiritual moments, turning routine acts of worship into opportunities for immense spiritual growth and divine favor.
