These shows, starring the Jonas Brothers and Ross Lynch respectively, have a unique ability to brighten my mood after a long day. Its mix of thrilling plot lines and emotional character development keeps me hooked and provides an escape into a supernatural world. Directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore, this 108-minute movie incorporates important themes about friendships and overcoming prejudice, all while being incredibly entertaining. Recently, I’ve also enjoyed "The Summer I Turned Pretty" (2022), a coming-of-age drama that beautifully explores first loves and personal growth, which I find to be very relatable. Everyone’s comfort media is different, but what matters most is that these shows and movies offer a safe space—a chance to embrace vulnerability, laugh, cry, or simply relax. Whether through familiar storylines or new favorites, these picks have become my go-to sources of comfort and joy during challenging times.
