Hey Simmers! Ever wanted to build a grand base game mansion like mine in Sims 4 without needing tons of packs? It's totally doable! I get so many questions about how I created this lush estate, especially the beautiful gazebo and vegetable garden, so I wanted to share some of my favorite tips. First off, don't be intimidated by the 'mansion' part. Start with a strong foundation! For my grand white Sims 4 mansion with its dark roof, I focused on creating a spacious layout first. Think about flow – how will your Sims move from the living areas to the outdoor spaces? I love having dedicated areas, so consider where your fountain views will be, and how they connect to your garden. When it comes to the garden, it’s all about layering and variety, even with base game plants. Don't just plop down a few shrubs. Experiment with different heights and textures. My vegetable garden isn't just practical for cooking; it adds so much vibrant color! And for that 'lush landscaping and trees' look from the aerial view, really use those debug plants. They're hidden gems that can transform your outdoor spaces. I even managed to incorporate a small wooden bridge over one of the two ponds, which adds so much charm. The ornate white gazebo is definitely a focal point. What I did was play around with different roof types and columns available in the base game. You can create surprisingly elegant structures with just a little creativity. Placing it near a pond with lily pads and flowers, as you saw in my close-up, makes it feel like a true oasis. And sometimes, if you're lucky, you can even catch a fish jumping out of the water! It adds so much life. And for those of you who noticed the winding driveway with the silver car and orange truck – landscaping around your driveway can make a huge difference! Using different paving textures and some well-placed trees helps break up the space and makes the entrance feel grander. Think about your Sims' lifestyle too. A vegetable garden means fresh ingredients for gourmet meals. A gazebo is perfect for romantic dates or quiet reading. A fountain adds ambiance. You don't need fancy packs to create a rich gameplay experience. My Sim family loves spending time outdoors, and this base game mansion truly supports that. Can you Make a base sim look good without cc?

Okay I admit I LOVE CC, but sometimes I don't want all my sims to look the same. I usually look for base sims on the gallery and redo them based on my liking. I obviously had to add some cc at the end. Should I upload her to the gallery for you to use with out any cc or cc? #lemon8challenge
