Christian Fiction Books
This is my first post, so bear with me if it's scattered and not as aesthetic as the book influencer posts are! I'm not here to be known or paid, I just wanted to share some of my favorite Christian books that are clean, but fun and engaging, (and have sequels so you can keep reading!!)
1. The Healer's Apprentice (Hagenheim Series Book 1 of 11) by Melanie Dickerson - Each of these stories are based off of some kind of fairytale. Set in medieval times, riveting and hooks you from the first chapter. Great for teens or adults alike. Overall rating: 8/10
2. Court of Swans (Dericott Tales Book 1 of 6) - by Melanie Dickerson - Again, Each of these are based off of fairytales you may have heard of. Also medieval, plenty of action and keeps you reading to see what happens next. This is another one great for teens and adults alike. Overall rating: 8/10
3. Last Light (Restoration Series Book 1 of 4) - By Terri Blackstock - Gripping mystery, realistically dystopian, and makes you think. What happens when the world you know comes crashing down around you? This series shows how while disaster can bring out the worst in some people, it can bring out the best in others. Overall rating: 10/10
4. Truth Stained Lies (Moonlighters Book 1 of 3) - Terri Blackstock - Murder mystery, with a hint of romance. This whole series builds on itself so well. Each book tells a unique story while featuring the same main characters. Can't recommend this series enough. Overall rating: 9/10
5. If I Run (Book 1 of 3) - Terri Blackstock - Accused of murder, and on the run, being tracked down by one of the only people who may be able to prove her innocence, if she can trust him enough to let him find her. This series was my first Blackstock book and I read the full thing within a week. Overall rating: 9/10
6. A Thousand Tomorrows (Book 1 of 2 of the Cody Gunner Series) - Karen Kingsbury - I'll be honest, I haven't read this since high school, but I know I sobbed like a baby. It's beautiful in classic Kingsbury way, and the second book is even more touching than the first. Love against all obstacles. Overall rating: 8/10
7. Even Now (Book 1 of 2) - Karen Kingsbury - This one hits you right in the heart. A daughter, looking for her mother who left when she was only a baby, a mother, desperate to escape everything she has lost. A painstakingly beautiful story of love, loss, and redemption. Overall rating: 10/10
