before anyone says nothing about my neck, usually i wear a hoodie with the string & tighten the string & that’s pretty much my makeshift hijab wherever i go because i always have an oversized hoodie with me almost everywhere i go. this was a new hoodie & i didn’t even realize my neck was fully out till i watched this video later. it sucks that i have to clarify this but i just know that some muslims love to be negative and judge like its their full time job. i’m grateful for muslims who uplift one another alhamdulillah for women who empower other women, my true sisters in islam that have the best hearts🤎

True friendship and sisterhood in the Muslim community often extend beyond words—they are shown through simple, caring actions that make a difference in everyday life. For many Muslim women, finding modesty and comfort in clothing, especially while navigating social situations, can be a challenge that involves creativity, like using an oversized hoodie as a makeshift hijab. This reflects a practical and personal approach to modesty that resonates with many. Additionally, the essence of true friendship shines when friends go out of their way to accommodate each other's needs with kindness and understanding. For example, lending a blankie for namaz during a movie night gathering showcases how friends support each other's faith practices in a genuine and caring manner. Such gestures strengthen community bonds and create a welcoming space where everyone feels respected and included. In the face of negativity or judgment, it is crucial to remember the power of positive reinforcement and mutual empowerment. Celebrating women who uplift one another and stand as supportive sisters in Islam nurtures a healthy, encouraging environment. This not only uplifts individual spirits but also builds a collective strength that helps overcome societal pressures and misunderstandings. Being part of hashtags like #muslimah, #desitiktok, and #muslimahtiktok, among others, signifies a shared experience and collective voice where stories of struggle, resilience, and empowerment are exchanged. These platforms allow Muslim women worldwide to connect, share insights, and inspire each other in authentic ways. Ultimately, this narrative reminds us that modesty, friendship, and sisterhood are deeply personal but universally important values. They create a network of love and support that helps navigate complexities with kindness and grace, encouraging every woman to feel confident and empowered in her own unique way.
