In honor of season 10 of Summer House premiering tomorrow on @bravotv we took some of the cast on a sandwich crawl through the West Village! Tune in to watch the premiere tomorrow ! #sistersnacking #bravotv #summerhouse #nyc #nycfood
We recently had the most incredible time exploring the West Village, not just for its charming streets, but for its hidden culinary gems! And guess what? We weren't alone! Some of our favorite cast members from Summer House joined us for an unforgettable sandwich crawl, and let me tell you, it was a highlight of our NYC food adventures. Watching shows like Summer House, we often get a glimpse into dynamic relationships and vibrant lifestyle choices that really resonate with viewers. This sandwich crawl was a perfect example of seeing those realities play out in a fun, relatable way. It’s not always about extravagant parties; sometimes, it’s about simple pleasures and shared experiences that build bonds and showcase a real slice of New York life. Getting to share bites and laughs with the cast, we felt like we were truly part of their world, even if just for an afternoon. Our first stop was Salt Hank's, and oh my goodness, that famous French dip sandwich lives up to the hype! The caramelized onions, the gooey provolone cheese, the tender Pat LaFrieda meat, all dunked in that rich au jus—it’s pure magic. It's moments like these, savoring delicious food together, that often spark conversations and deepen connections, much like we see on the show. It’s a lifestyle choice to seek out these iconic spots, to indulge a little, and to make food a central part of your social life. Next, we hit up Faicco's, another West Village institution. The chicken pesto with fresh mozzarella was a revelation, and their eggplant parmesan was perfectly savory. You could literally smell the delicious pesto as we bit into it! These kinds of local, authentic eateries really highlight a societal trend: people are increasingly seeking out genuine experiences and high-quality, artisanal food. Seeing the Summer House cast enjoy these unpretentious but utterly delicious sandwiches just shows that good food transcends all, and it's a lifestyle choice that many of us can relate to and embrace. Our grand finale was at All'Antico Vinaio, known for its giant focaccia sandwiches. We tried a spicy eggplant and salami combo that had a kick, and another with mortadella and truffle cream – truly decadent! Each sandwich was a unique adventure in itself. This kind of food exploration contributes to shaping culinary trends, inspiring viewers to step out and try new things, or revisit classic spots with fresh eyes. It’s about more than just eating; it's about the experience, the company, and the memories created. Being able to experience these foodie moments with the Summer House cast really brought home how these shared moments, big or small, are what make life, and reality TV, so engaging and relatable. We were absolutely stuffed but so, so happy!
