... Read moreAs fall approaches, it's essential for dog owners to be aware of the hazards associated with the season. Mums, for instance, are a common fall flower that poses serious risks if ingested by dogs, as they are toxic and can cause gastrointestinal distress, among other issues. Corn cobs are also a hidden danger; while dogs love corn, the cob can lead to severe intestinal blockages that may require surgical intervention. Moreover, chocolate, a favorite fall treat for humans, is highly toxic to dogs. Even small amounts can lead to stomach upset, and larger quantities can be life-threatening. It's crucial to educate ourselves on these and other fall-related hazards for pets to ensure our furry friends stay safe. By sharing this information with fellow dog owners and being vigilant during the season, we can help protect our beloved companions from harmful substances and ensure a happy, healthy autumn for all.

Things I learned from delivering my dogs puppies…
I did my research like you’re supposed to when your dog is pregnant. I made notes and everything on what you’re supposed to do, what the dog will be like, etc. I soon found out that most of what they wrote about was “textbook” and most dogs don’t have a “textbook” pregnancy and delivery. I’m glad w
