What to Watch: 90s Cartoons
Im not going to lie. After watching Quiet on Set, I didn’t know whether or not to post this.
Ultimately I decided to because 2 things can be true at the same time. What happened with the child actors was horrible AND these cartoons are important because they taught diversity, inclusion, and creativity.
I mean the Rugrats celebrated Christmas and Hanukkahh!
The world today could learn a lot about how to treat people and how to allow everyone to take up space from these cartoons.
Doug- a cartoon about a young boy who moved to a new city and his journey about making friends. Doug is so creative that he imagines himself as different characters that give him strength to handle different situations
Hey Arnold- a cartoon about a kid that lives with his grandparents in a boarding house! It was so cool seeing how kids grew up in NY since I live in the south. I wish that I could walk everywhere 😂
Rugrats- These babies went on some adventures ok?! They taught you to be brave and it’s ok to be scared (and fail) as long as you try.
I’m grateful I had shows like this growing up
