God still wants you

Starting my Bible study challenge today. I’ve read Genesis probably 4 times and I did get insights today that I didn’t realize before.

From Genesis 1-3

1.God KNEW Adam and Eve would eat from the tree. 🐍 🍎

He literally said “when you eat from it”. Not IF but WHEN. His plan for you can still happen despite how many times we mess up. He already knows we will fall short.

2. He pursued Adam and Eve after the sin when they hid from him. 🍃

He’s all knowing. He knew they were hiding but he still called out to them.

⭐️ WHILE they were embarrassed and in their sin.

He doesn’t care what stage you’re in. He doesn’t care if you committed a sin two seconds ago. He still wants you.

This also made me realize that he won’t force you to come to him. He knew where they were. He could have just walked up on them. 🚶🏽

But he called out to them. 🗣️

He won’t force you to leave your sin and shame, but he’ll be right there when you decide to. 🫂

In today’s world, many feel that their past mistakes put them beyond hope, but this narrative reassures us that God's plans can still unfold regardless of our shortcomings. We are reminded that we are never too far gone for God to restore us. The challenge, then, is to recognize His constant pursuit and respond to His call, knowing that He is there, waiting with open arms. Understanding this aspect of divine love can transform how we view our struggles and our relationship with God, inspiring us to pursue a closer walk with Him.
