I got into a screaming argument with a girl in 2nd grade over this movie. And I just fact checked, Disney never bought ‘Anastasia’, it was owned by 21st Century Fox and Disney later acquired 21st Century Fox so they did gain ownership of the rights but not by directly purchasing the movie.
