While I Wait… ✍🏼

I sit in the quiet

between almost and not yet,

where numbers don’t move,

and sales trickle

like rain that forgot

its promise to fall.

Some days, the lack is loud

reminding me of what hasn’t come,

what I can’t force,

what I can only hope for.

So I return to the one thing

still within reach…myself.

My hands, my heart,

my small, stubborn devotion

to the craft that keeps me breathing.

I paint, I write, I build

not because it fixes the drought,

but because it roots me

in what will someday bloom.

It keeps me invested

in the unknown harvest,

faithful to seeds

that haven’t broken ground.

Waiting becomes its own teacher.

Lack becomes its own refining fire.

And…

I choose to stay in my creativity

even when the world feels slow to see it.

Because maybe the work is the proof

that I’m not done.

Maybe the patience is the bridge

to what’s coming.

And perhaps,

in the between; now and later,

God is growing me

so I can carry

what I’m praying for. 😭

... Read moreWaiting can be one of the most challenging phases in any creative journey. I’ve learned that during these quiet seasons, when progress feels stalled, it’s crucial to hold onto both patience and purpose. The poem reflects my own acceptance that growth isn’t always visible at first—it’s happening beneath the surface, in subtle ways. Creativity becomes not just a passion, but a lifeline. Whether it’s painting, writing, or building, engaging in these acts helps me stay connected to my inner self and maintain hope for the future. I encourage others to use this time as an opportunity to refine their skills and deepen their dedication, regardless of external recognition or immediate results. The image text reminds me that although waiting can feel like hanging on for dear life or slipping away, it’s still a privilege to create. These moments of struggle can ignite a refining fire that strengthens us. Like seeds planted in the soil, our efforts will eventually bloom—even if it takes time to see it. Holding onto faith and continuing the craft can make the quiet wait a powerful teacher.

Milestones Don’t Wait!
Same workplace. Same routine. Same view every single shift. But the baby on my phone screen? She’s not the same baby anymore. Every time I video call her, she looks a little bigger… a little more grown. 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝—𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭. We work hard because we love our childre

If you have people

don’t wait.
Let them know.
Some moments are quiet… but deeply meaningful. Recently, I had the chance to sit down with the back office team at Financial Alliance. No spotlight. Just conversations. And yet, it meant a lot. Because behind every advisory practice that grows, there is an 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 that keep

Don’t wait till the last minute ☝🏻
Writing vows that make people cry isn’t about being dramatic. It’s about being specific enough that it feels real, and honest enough that it feels a little vulnerable to say out loud. Here are 5 grounded tips, with what to say (and what to avoid), plus examples you can actually use. 1. Start
