What did I do to pull a muscle?🤣

... Read moreAs we age, our bodies undergo various changes that can increase the risk of muscle pulls and strains. Particularly after the age of 40, muscle elasticity and strength may decrease, making it easier to sustain an injury even during everyday activities. It’s essential to recognize that a muscle pull can occur without excessive exertion. Factors like dehydration, inadequate warm-up routines, and even stress can contribute to such injuries. To prevent muscle pulls, consider incorporating regular flexibility exercises into your routine. Stretching can significantly improve muscle elasticity and overall mobility. Additionally, staying hydrated and maintaining a balanced diet rich in nutrients will support muscle health. Recognizing the signs of fatigue and taking proper breaks during physical activities can also help mitigate the risks. By understanding how age influences muscle health, you can take proactive steps to reduce the likelihood of injury and maintain an active lifestyle.
