Perched on branches that time ornate.

Between the now and where dreams convene.
Oh, harbingers black, with your ancient song,
A riddle that’s haunted the ages long.
Do you mourn? Do you laugh? Or simply proclaim,
The eternal fire of life’s fragile flame?
