... Read moreAttending the Culinary Class Wars event in Singapore was a truly unforgettable experience. The Korea Tourism Organisation did a fantastic job welcoming guests with a wide range of activities and generous freebies that kept the atmosphere lively and engaging. One of the highlights was meeting the talented celebrity chefs TRAV 정호영 and the female chef featured in the show. Both chefs showcased incredible dishes inspired by Korean flavors, such as the visually stunning Basi (拔丝), which was a sweet treat made with caramelized sugar, perfectly balancing texture and taste. The culinary demonstrations offered great insights into Korean cooking techniques, giving a deeper appreciation for the precision and creativity involved. Sampling dishes from Season 1 and Season 2 of Culinary Class Wars provided a unique opportunity to taste some of Korea's innovative cuisine firsthand. What made the experience even more special was the friendly interaction with the chefs and fellow food lovers, creating a warm, community feel. The event not only celebrated Korean gastronomy but also highlighted the cultural stories behind each dish, making it both a delicious and educational outing. For anyone interested in Korean food, or culinary competitions, attending such events can be incredibly inspiring and a great way to expand your palate and cooking skills. The blend of flavors and the passion of the chefs left me keen to explore more Korean recipes at home, bringing a taste of Korea into everyday meals.
