Holding space for who I was and loving who I became.

7/26 Edited to

... Read moreThroughout life, the process of loving ourselves evolves as we mature and grow through different stages and experiences. Holding space for who I was means accepting the struggles, mistakes, and insecurities that shaped my earlier self without judgment. This self-compassion creates a foundation for genuine self-love and understanding. When I reflect on my past, I realize that every challenge I faced contributed valuable lessons that helped me become the person I am today. Reconciling with my past involves acknowledging moments of vulnerability and celebrating the courage it took to overcome them. This journey isn’t about erasing who I was but honoring my resilience and growth. Loving who I became involves embracing change and the strengths I’ve cultivated over time. It’s about recognizing that personal growth is a constant, evolving process and offering kindness to myself along the way. This mindset helps me build confidence, foster healthier relationships, and approach life with more empathy. In my experience, practicing mindfulness and journaling have been helpful tools in holding space for my past and present self. These practices encourage reflection, self-awareness, and emotional healing, allowing me to integrate my past experiences positively into my current identity. If you’re on a similar journey, remember that self-love is not linear. It’s okay to feel disconnected at times from your past or present self. Embrace the complexity of your story and give yourself permission to grow authentically. Ultimately, loving who you became while honoring who you were cultivates a deeper connection with yourself and enriches your life’s journey.

How to Declutter Your Space for 2025
Decluttering isn’t just about stuff—it’s about the stories we tell ourselves. The ones that whisper, ‘You’ll need this someday,’ or, ‘This is who you used to be.’ But let me ask you, is that ‘someday’ worth more than the peace you’re craving right now? When you hold onto things that don’t
