10 Things God has been teaching me💛

3/14 Edited to

... Read moreReflecting on my spiritual journey, these lessons resonate deeply with anyone striving to grow in faith amid life's challenges. One profound insight is that our identity is truly found in Christ, not in the approval of the world around us. This has helped me reject the pressure to conform and instead embrace my unique calling, much like the lesson in John 15:19 teaches us that God chooses us out of the world. Another life-changing realization is the importance of spending quiet, intentional time with God to hear His voice clearly. In today’s noisy world, this discipline of solitude and prayer has been essential for me in discerning God’s guidance and gaining peace despite external distractions, echoing Matthew 6:6’s message. Learning to replace negative thoughts with God’s promises has transformed my mindset. Whenever doubt or fear creeps in, I actively remind myself of verses like 2 Corinthians 10:5, which encourages taking every thought captive to obey Christ. This spiritual practice has empowered me to reject the enemy’s lies and stand firm in faith. Forgiveness is another key teaching. I struggled with forgiving myself for past mistakes, but surrendering those burdens to God has led to true healing and restoration, reflecting Joel 2:25’s promise. This step was vital in moving from brokenness to wholeness. Additionally, I have discovered that choosing peace over impulse and prayer over pressure in making decisions leads to wiser outcomes. Philippians 4:6-7 has been a daily reminder not to anxiously worry but to present requests through prayer, trusting God’s peace to guard my heart. Through all seasons, including wilderness seasons of hardship or waiting, I have learned that God is my purpose and my future. Psalm 23:4 reminds me that even in dark valleys, God’s comforting presence accompanies me, assuring that no challenge is wasted when I pursue Him wholeheartedly. Lastly, guarding my heart and cultivating discernment have become indispensable. Just as Proverbs 4:23 teaches, protecting my inner life affects everything I do. Jesus faced rejection but remained true to His calling, inspiring me to stay steadfast despite opposition. These teachings have nurtured my growth in faith and character. I hope sharing them encourages others who may be navigating their own spiritual journeys, reminding you that God's transformative lessons are personal, timely, and filled with hope.
