2025 Prayer BOX/JAR 🙏🏾✝️
I decided to make a Prayer Box for 2025. I saw the video on TikTok but instead of doing a jar I did a box. All supplies were Purchased from my Favorite store Dollar Tree 🌴.
My Daughters made themselves one too.
Putting prayers in the Jar to me is equivalent to putting your prayers/issues ect…. In Gods hands . In 2025 we are no longer stressing over things we are simply putting it in his Hands . We are trusting in him🙏🏾

Decorating it can be as elaborate or as simple as you like. My daughters had a blast personalizing theirs with glitter and colorful drawings. The beauty of a homemade prayer box is that it becomes a tangible representation of your personal faith journey. So, what exactly goes into a prayer box? For me, it's a sacred space for every kind of prayer. I write down specific requests for guidance, worries I'm struggling with, gratitude for blessings, and even intercessory prayers for friends and family. Sometimes it's a simple note saying, “Dear Lord, more of You is what I need,” reflecting that beautiful sentiment I came across, about needing more of Jesus and less of myself. Other times, it’s a detailed explanation of a challenging situation, asking for strength and wisdom. The act of writing it down, folding it, and placing it inside is incredibly cathartic. It’s a symbolic act of letting go, reminding me that I don't need to keep muscling through this life of faith alone. This isn't just a craft project; it's a spiritual discipline. The prayer box serves as a visible reminder that I am trusting in a higher power. Instead of constantly replaying worries in my head, I write them down and commit them to God. It helps me shift from a state of anxiety to one of surrender and peace. Throughout the year, I add new prayers as they arise, and it’s comforting to know they're there, waiting in God's care. Some people like to open their boxes at the end of the year to reflect on how God has moved in their lives, answering prayers in unexpected ways. Others prefer to let them accumulate year after year as a testament to their growing faith. If a box isn't quite your style, a prayer jar works just as beautifully! You can decorate a glass jar with ribbons, paint, or even etched designs. The core idea remains the same: creating a special place for your prayers. No matter the design, the intention is to build a practice of intentional prayer and trust. It’s a wonderful way to cultivate a deeper connection with your faith and experience the peace that comes from truly putting your hopes and concerns in God's hands. It truly helps me to simply need 'more of You' in my life, less of my own striving and more of His grace.
