Reminder to take a deep breath
All I feel is sadness, fear, and heartbroken with the outcome of the elections in Puerto Rico and the USA.
I've tried to stay out of social media today and limit my time on the apps because I already feel the way I feel, and I don't want to add to that.
All I've done is be in bed and watch Christmas content, DIY, and art videos.
Take a pause to breathe and rest because there is no quitting.
Something that made me laugh today was seeing my dog, Atenea, resting on that log.
During challenging times, it's essential to take a moment to breathe and find solace in small joys. After the elections in Puerto Rico and the USA, many are feeling overwhelmed with sadness and fear. It's okay to step back from social media and focus on self-care. Engaging in comforting activities, like watching festive content or enjoying creative DIY projects, can provide a much-needed distraction. As you embrace vulnerability and acknowledge your feelings, remember that you're not alone in this journey. Sharing experiences using hashtags such as #lemon8diarychallenge and #embracevulnerability can foster a sense of community and support. When feelings of defeat arise, reminding yourself that rest is vital can be empowering. The adorable moments shared with pets, like seeing a dog find a cozy spot, serve as gentle reminders to cherish everyday happiness. As you navigate through these emotions, consider the effects of taking deep breaths and pausing to reflect. Creating a calming environment at home or spending time in nature can help ease anxiety. By remaining connected to your feelings and allowing yourself to process them, you can emerge stronger and more resilient. Remember, it's okay to find joy amidst sadness, and prioritizing mental wellness is always a worthy endeavor.

Thank you I needed that 💙
