The weather here is hardly very different from Thailand, hot, warm, but not burning, not sticky, even by the sea, and there are always cold winds. We traveled to two cities: La Paz and Los Cabo, going to La Paz first, two hours drive from the airport, and Los Cabo is only 30 minutes from the airport.
La Paz is the capital, but it is a quiet city, not chaotic. If it comes on weekends, people may be a little more. There are locals who come out on vacation and tourists mixed up, but not bustling. There is more local urbanism than tourist attraction. Here, people are friendly, cute and not very dangerous. Fresh seafood is delicious, affordable, but wait a lot longer. Until the food is out, even if the people are not many, meticulous in cooking, but it is worth waiting. There are jewelry items made of pearl, shells, clothes, home decorations. According to the style, the sea tour is not very different from our home.
Main activities besides walking through interesting places like churches or museums, walking by the sea, bicycling during January-March will be a time when you can do activities like swimming with whales, and scuba diving, which can do both of these activities, and we have the opportunity to go to the water at Balandra National Park. We have to reserve a queue before entering, which is divided into two periods, which is restricted to people. There are cleaning breaks, clear the area. In the city of Los Cabo, we stay in the Marina area, which is a rather bustling and chaotic place, but also beautiful and comfortable. This is a huge source of parties. Unlike La Paz, there are parties on boats and clubs. There are many people selling tours, but there are cards, there are soldiers, police, on guard duty all the time. More than La Paz. The food is quite expensive and the taste is more tourist-style than the native taste. The service is good. The food is fast and the table is very fast. 😂
There are fishing boats and boat trips around such as The Arch of Cabo San Lucas. The highlight is that we take a little boat out and enter the Pacific Ocean. It's not surprising that there are many marine creatures and even many sea lions that live in the harbor screaming louder than music.
There is also a consignment market, some interesting items, and especially a local gem known as Opal or Fire Opal.
The value of this place uses the Mexican peso and also receives the dollar and the credit card. The language is mainly Spanish. If you have some understanding of Spanish, it's easy. Overall, people are cute like Thai people. Even if you can't speak English, you often try to speak slowly for us to understand or press the calculator. 😆
