I actually found this book to be very profound. It really proved that marketing can really change our perspective and desensitize us to just about anything. The ending was truly a twist for me personally but it furthers the idea of manipulation for personal gain

I liked this one! I really enjoyed how she set up the reader to think the MC was as disgusted by the state of the world as the reader is, until the end and turns out he’s just a grieving disenchanted office worker who’s just as bad as all the people he’s judging. Points of it were predictable but I think it added to it
