"Invitation Accepted"
Mathew 22.1-14. Wedding Feast
This is the perfect example of the Upside-down Kingdom.
The party is ready, no details left unattended.
Those who thought they knew it all, were also in part, the ones who could afford anything they desired.
When the invitation was presented there was no interest.Their lives were there own and they would live them as they pleased.
Okay who wants out of the life spiraling into destruction? Who wants to partake of my fattened cattle, who wants to join my feast?
The desperate and the hungry, the widow and the thief, the poor and the diseased the oppressed and those all alone.
I bet they'll want to join my feast fit for a King.
But about that one? The one who is wearing the invisible disguise?
"For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Are you wearing your garment of righteousness or are you wearing an outfit
hiding your filth, all for the pleasure of the King?
Ultimately, we know this phrase is not literally asking about clothes. But it is an invitation for personal reflection on your spiritual condition.
Are you relying on God's righteousness, or your own flawed efforts, to cover your sins?
Do you genuinely seek to be transformed by God's grace, or are you just putting on a good show?
Do you understand and accept the full cost of grace and repentance?
We're all on this road together at various curves in the road but living a life of complete transparency carries many timeless benefits.

Father, I'll take it! I'm not going to ask and I'm not going to wonder, but I am going to accept the invitation but I will need help making myself presentable. It's an invitation with unimaginable gifts but all I have to offer is myself, If You please... There is no other higher than You or as privileged as I to accept a personal invitation from the King. I honor You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
