"No Vacancy"

John 7:34

"You will seek me and you will not find me. Where I am you cannot come.”

In this verse Jesus is departing and making way for the Holy Spirit.

It also serves as a prophetic warning about the finality of rejecting Jesus. It foreshadows that those who reject Him will be separated from Him and the Father, and their spiritual searching will have been in vain.

Mark 12:31

‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

So... one of these verses explains the way to live in harmony with God's will, a life of love...

The other describes the ultimate fate of those who refuse this path, closing the door to fellowship with God.

The two verses together are saying that failure to love as God commands is a rejection of God himself.

So those who reject

Jesus will not enter God's presence because of their unwillingness to love, proving they were not in line with the Kingdom's central principle.

This is why we take the Gospel to all the nations... From the very beginning the Holy Spirit impressed upon me the importance of sharing the gospel. To me it goes hand in hand with loving others as you love yourself. Do we all have a list of people we care about who are still blind to His word?

The time to knock at the door will soon have a sign on it that says "No Vacancy"

Heavenly Father, show us the skillset that You have given us to shine our lights for all to see. Show us how to share the Gospel to all the nations. Give us the hearts of an Evangelist when the times come upon us. Let us be Your vessels to speak Your words through our mouths. Grant us any gift necessary to perform good works to glorify You and the Kingdom. Through us they're just words but through You we speak life. Let us speak life into the lost and downtrodden.
