The Paradox of True Life 🔥
The Paradox of True Life 🔥
“Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:39)
The world tells us to protect our time, comfort, and reputation. It screams "find yourself!" But Jesus invites us into a divine paradox: True life isn't found by hoarding it, but by handing it over.
What's He asking of me today?
When I hold on too tightly to my own plans, I lose out on His purpose and may never know what rewards God has in store?
But when I lay down my agenda to serve Him, I discover the life I was created for.
It’s a daily decision. It’s taking up the cross and proactively saying "Yes, Lord" even when it’s uncomfortable.
✨ My commitment is to not shrink back when talking about His Word. Not to worry about whatever my image, safety, or comfort level may be when serving Him.
Lord, thank You for the security I have in You. It can be scary to surrender control, but I know that when I let go, I gain You.
Give me the courage to choose Your will over my comfort today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
"What is one comfort you feel called to lay down this week? Or who are you being led to share the Good News with?
We can pray for each other!

Luke 9:23-24
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, this is the one who will save it."
Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
Philippians 3:7-8
"But whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ."
