Life as a PCT🩷🏥

I work as Patient Care Technician in a level 2 hospital! I am blessed to work with an amazing healthcare team that is kind and supportive when you need it🥰

The reality of being a PCT is long hours (PS I work 12 hour shifts, night shifts aka graveyard shifts 🌗), mean patients (sometimes), dealing with bodily fluids like a lot💩💦 and just the mental strain of having peoples care in your hands. It can be a lot sometimes, but I love it and I love healthcare even if our system is not so perfect😪

I want to be a doctor in the nearest future and enjoy that with this job I’m able to have direct patient care and learn the little nuances about healthcare☺️

My favorite part of my day is when I’m leaving cos I get to see the most beautiful sunrise ☀️🌅

Hope you enjoy my cute and REAL little selfies I sneak in here and there! I love my job, can you tell 💅🏾🤭
