Easy family dinner and kids approved!
This 20-minute meal is a total lifesaver for busy parents and a hit! We're packing these juicy chicken burgers with hidden veggies—peppers and onions—plus a whole egg for the perfect binder and extra protein boost. Seriously, the kids won't even know! It’s quick, healthy, and SO good.
Here’s how to do it:
AIR FRYER SWEET POTATO FRIES 🍟
1. Slice 2 large sweet potatoes into fries.
2. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning (the key!).
3. Pop them in the air fryer in a single layer at 400°F (200°C).
4. Cook for 15-20 minutes, giving the basket a good shake halfway through. Watch them crisp up! 💥
HIDDEN VEGGIE CHICKEN BURGERS 🍔
1. Mix 1 lb ground chicken with 1 egg (the binder!) and finely chopped red onion and green/red bell peppers.
2. Season generously! I use:
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Salt & Pepper
THE SECRET: Kinder’s Chicken Seasoning (or your favorite garlicky blend!)
3. Form 4-5 patties and press a small dimple in the center.
4. Pan-sear on med-high heat for 5-6 mins per side. Add a slice of cheese in the last minute! (I love Colby jack or Provolone)
5. Build your burger with buns, lettuce, and more red onion rings, pickles, tomatoes and condiments.
Serve with those perfectly crispy air fryer fries!
Save this for a quick, healthy weeknight win! This is a simple, delicious meal that feels like a cheat but is actually loaded with the good stuff.
