The First Conversation
When Amara decided to check her dating profile and as she opened up the app she had a message waiting. The message was from Malik.
Malik was a handsome man in his mid 50’s. He was spiritual. A college graduate and father. As Amara reviewed his profile again she couldn’t help but think of how handsome this man was. She kept peering at this pictures.
She said to herself, “Let me see what message he left. I pray that this one has at least the basics of good communication. This journey has been quite interesting.”
She went to review the message he left and he stated, “Hello Amara. It’s nice to meet you. I hope your day is going well. Can you tell me one interesting fact about yourself?
Amara was actually elated as he didn’t start the usual with asking a bunch of the same old questions most ask such as - You are so beautiful why are you single? What are you looking for? What’s your zodiac? The list goes on. This man asked her something different.
Amara is generally very good about reading people. For some reason she felt this would be different. She has a gut feeling. Amara responded, “I am doing well today. Thank you for asking. I hope you’re is going well too. One thing about me is that I love metaphysical science. Anything that is about spirituality I love. I can spend hours researching topics. What about yourself?”
Malik responded, “I love conversations on topics related to consciousness. I am going to look forward to speaking with you further.”
Amara said, “That’s awesome! How is your vibe today?”
Malik responded, “I’m having a very positive and high vibration day!”
Amara stated, “That’s great! I hope that you continue to have an awesome day!”
Malik then said, “I would rather speak with you over the phone. My number is 555-123-4567. I look forward to speaking with you later if that is ok with you.”
Amara responded, “I would like to chat with you later.”
After closing out the app Amara couldn’t believe she had very good conversation with Malik. She was looking forward to that conversation they would have.
