One of the most beautiful gardens in Nottingham. ⛰️🇬🇧
If anyone is staying or visiting Nottingham, there is a place where you want to go a lot because you can go every season. Whenever you go, it feels good every time. This is Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, which many people call Wollaton Park for short. It is a large park that is a little more than a 10-minute bus ride from the city.
There is a beautiful garden full of flowers, meadows, large streams, ducks, swans, geese, but every time you ask for it is the "deer herd" that lives in the garden. If you come when there are not many people, you will come out and walk with us, so we can take a very close picture (but don't catch you, you may have a reaction, haha). But if you can't find you, you can ask the staff in the garden.
Another point where every time you go, you have to take a picture back is Wollaton Hall, where Bruce Wayne's home in The Dark Knight Rises was filmed.
The building itself was built from c.1580 by architect Robert Smythson, later the residence of Cassandra Willoughby, after which it was previously damaged by fire, and was restored by renowned architect Jeffry Wyattville, the same person who worked with the Chatsworth House that housed the filming of Pride and Prejudice.
Wollaton Hall is now overseen by Nottingham City Council and is open as a museum to the public, with an admission fee of £10.
What I really like about this place is that no matter what season it comes, it's beautiful.
Spring will fill the garden with flowers.
Summer. The meadows are lush. The flowers are blooming. The colors are beautiful.
Autumn - Golden, Red, Filled Leaves
Winter - if there's snow, it's as beautiful as the movie scene, and most people at knots will play sleigh.
