God answered your prayer

It hurts to see how many people think starting over is a bad thing. Many of us pray for God to take away the pain, the rejection, to redeem us, to heal us, to draw us closer to Him, to bring forth marriage, and to restore us.

The thing is, we often have our own perception of who we think God is and how we think He works. We want God to move at the speed of light in the natural — expecting Him to do it in the snap of a finger — not realizing that the route He takes will not only answer your prayer in full but also make it greater than your imagination.

Many of you have been in certain relationships or situations where you’ve prayed for God to save your abuser. Yet God’s plan was to separate you from your abuser. He gave you a way out, but you allowed intimidation from others and their judgments about your situation to deter you from taking the escape.

The enemy’s plan is to convince you that it’s better to stay because “they will change.” You’ve prayed for marriage, but you want it to be with your current partner—while God keeps showing you sign after sign that they’re not your husband or wife. LISTEN!

You’ve prayed for a closer relationship with God, so He begins to separate you from certain people. Some of the people you’re surrounded by right now don’t have good intentions for you! God is bringing you into a period of consecration so He can pour into you and strengthen you to hear His voice, but you keep trying to reconnect with your past. STOP!

You think God isn’t ready to bless you, but you’re delaying it by “waiting on God.” The truth is, God is waiting on you to move!

Obey God. Stop delaying what He has for you—He’s already answered your prayer.

Daniel 10:12 NKJV:

Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.
