Watch the coach hit this flow:

1️⃣ Side Kickthrough

2️⃣ Scorpion Reach

3️⃣ Crab Reach

The Challenge: Try these three moves one after another. Don’t worry about looking perfect. Just focus on control and feeling your body work. Each move hits your strength, balance, and coordination in a totally different way.

... Read moreWhen I first tried the Side Kickthrough, Scorpion Reach, and Crab Reach sequence, I was surprised at how it activated muscles I never usually engage during my workouts. These moves not only challenge your strength but also improve your body awareness and coordination. My personal tip is to focus on smooth transitions rather than perfection. Don’t stress about nailing each move flawlessly; instead, pay attention to how each part of your body moves and balances. This helps develop better control and reduces the risk of injury. I noticed that incorporating this flow into my routine greatly enhanced my stability and mobility. The Side Kickthrough helped open up my hips and strengthen my core, the Scorpion Reach improved my back flexibility and shoulder strength, while the Crab Reach challenged my balance and coordination. Filming myself performing the moves made me more mindful of my form and allowed me to track progress over time. Tagging the studio was fun too, as it connected me with a community of like-minded people all pushing their limits. If you’re looking to break out of the typical forward-and-back workout and build functional strength that supports all movements, I highly recommend giving these three moves a try. They make training dynamic and engaging while boosting overall physical fitness.
