I’ve found great success with Kirkland Signature Ultra Clean. It’s incredibly powerful yet doesn't seem to trigger my skin like some "natural" brands did. For those really tough stains or athletic wear, Persil ProClean Advanced Deep Clean is my gold standard. It deep cleans without leaving irritating residues, which I think is key for eczema. And for an extra boost, especially on heavily soiled items, I've got a homemade laundry booster. It's a mix of washing soda, borax, and Oxiclean. I just add a scoop to the wash cycle, and it helps lift stubborn dirt and stains, ensuring everything comes out super clean. I always make sure to use an extra rinse cycle when I use this, just to be safe and avoid any residual irritation. Finally, don't forget machine maintenance! A clean washing machine is crucial. I use Tide Washing Machine Cleaner with Oxi about once a week to prevent any build-up of detergent residue or odors that could transfer to my clothes and potentially irritate my skin. It's all about creating the cleanest, least irritating environment for my laundry. It just goes to show that what works for one person with sensitive skin might not work for another, and sometimes, the simplest solutions are the best.
