DOING LAUNDRY COLLEGE EDITION
WARNING!!! College laundry etiquette IS NOT THE SAME as home laundry etiquette (if you want to save time and money)
Like I mentioned in my previous post: College laundry rooms can be war zones if you are not in and out. Over time, I have learned to give up on the formal sorting of darks, lights, etc and have resorted to focusing SOLELY on the material I am washing.
My biggest advice is to make sure that if you do mix colors that these materials are washed BEFORE you wash them together.
I sort my laundry into 6 loads: Towels, Delicates, Cotton, Blankets, Sheets, Denim. (I do some loads more often than others as well)
