How to exfoliate your body(heal dry skin)

I just discovered a few weeks ago the best way to exfoliate especially if your skin is dry like mine.

I used to exfoliate in the shower🚿 with wet skin and always wonder why I was still so dry.

BUT THEN randomly I thought what if I changed it up and girls it was no turning back lol

✅STEPS to exfoliate your skin (the juiciest way)

🩷1. DOUBLE CLEANSE- 🧖‍♀️🧖🏾‍♀️so use a bar soap first from neck to toe (or face to toe like me ) then use your reg soap like liquid body wash

❤️2. DRY OFF - do not skip this step it’s super important! You don’t wanna be bone dry but damp while you’re still in the shower ! Turn the water off (cold I know but it’s only for a few min)

🧡3.APPLY IT- 🧴spread a thin layer from your neck down to your feet while gently going in a circular motion.( I use it on my face as well)

💛4. USE NET SPONGE- if you don’t have a net sponge you can use a body brush or your HANDS🙌 again.

💚5. ENJOY YOUR SOFT 🌹SILKY SKIN- seriously you will be in love

Ladies 🥹❤️this made me soo soft from my face to my feet ! And I have serious dry skin !

🔥btw this will help dark spots! I’m trying to get rid of my dark knees. Underarms and elbows 😭

... Read moreExfoliation is critical in maintaining healthy, smooth skin, especially for those with dry skin. The proper technique can vastly improve the skin's texture and appearance. One effective method is using a sugar scrub, as it gently removes dead skin cells while moisturizing the skin. Ingredients like coconut and hibiscus, often found in products, hydrate and invigorate the skin. Another essential tool is the African exfoliating net, known for its ability to enhance scrubbing power, ensuring even areas like knees, elbows, and underarms receive attention. It's vital to apply the scrub on damp skin, as this helps in better absorption and effectiveness. Always rinse with cool water to close the pores and lock in moisture. Incorporating these techniques not only helps fade dark spots but can also improve overall skin health. Regular exfoliation, about 1-2 times a week, will allow your skin to regenerate and reveal a brighter, more radiant complexion. Combine this with a good moisturizer for optimal results!

on my shaving days (the only days i exfoliate) i use a scrub and i don’t rinse it i just shave with that instead of any shaving cream or oil. i personally find it leaves my skin so much softer 🫶
