Why I Struggle W Internalised Feminism… 🄹

Some days I’m just sick of people telling me how to behave as a woman.

I just want to be seen for who I am… as a human being ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹

It’s confusing, exhausting, and honestly sometimes unfair. But having people who lift you up quietly? That really makes a difference.

... Read moreDealing with internalised feminism often feels like walking a tightrope where every step is scrutinized. From my experience, it can be incredibly draining trying to meet the contradictory expectations placed on women—be independent but not intimidating, be confident but not bossy, be successful but not overshadow others. These unspoken rules create confusion and self-doubt that make it harder to simply be yourself. What has helped me most is connecting with communities that truly support women without judgment. Whether it's online groups or local meetups, sharing experiences with others who understand these pressures creates a sense of belonging and encouragement. Instead of competing, we uplift each other, reminding ourselves that empowerment is not a race or a checklist. Another important aspect is recognizing that feminism isn’t about fitting one mold but about embracing diverse identities and paths. It’s okay to feel exhausted or conflicted—it doesn’t mean you’re not committed to equality. Sometimes, it means you are human. Taking time for inner work, self-reflection, and setting boundaries has been essential for me to reclaim my voice and agency without internalizing unrealistic standards. In everyday life, small acts of kindness and validation from friends or allies can fuel resilience. Even quiet support—like a reassuring message or a thoughtful gesture—can make a difference when society demands so much. Remember, you don’t have to do it all alone or perfectly. Building a network where women and men encourage each other is key to navigating these complexities and finding peace within yourself.

A foundation book in feminism
I didn’t expect A Room of One’s Own to feel so relevant, even now. Virginia Woolf wrote this nearly a century ago, but her words still carry the quiet force of a truth we’re still learning to live out. At its core, this is more than a feminist essay—it’s a call for space. Space to think. To cr

I HATE Men, but I MARRIED a good one
I heard someone online say that women who hate men generally have better boyfriends or husbands, and it truly believe that. The logic behind it is that, if you know what a shitty person looks like, you'll be able to eliminate the shitty ones from the genuinely good ones or keep men in check of

Oh man, its still Wednesday : On overcompetetive
i think at some point we need to apologise for over focusing on one or two issues and covering up an overcomplicated over competitive insincerity culture for the sake of the city life. We've all been there. Sold our souls for 5 mins at being bitchy enough to make it in the city. The vibe'
