Esplanade Reigda, on a day when there was no railway flea market...How much has changed?
Yesterday, there was a chance to go back to the Esplanade Ratchada for many years. If you think back 5-6 years ago, this is the busiest check-in spot. The traffic jam in front of the mall is serious because there is a Ratchada Railway Market. After going back to walk after the business, let's update the current atmosphere.

The mall is much clearer: the atmosphere is comfortable. The light may not be as showy as before, but the walk is not squeezing well.

4th Floor & Reign: The day without the event is a little lonely. On the third floor, the shops are less, but Fitness is still normally open.

Behind the mall is a hope: where it used to be a railway flea market, it is now an open courtyard and some of it is under construction. There is a sign on it that says "Coming back soon." I have to wait to follow.

หลายคนที่ค้นหา “เอสพลานาด รัชดา” หรือแนวๆ “รัชดาพาเพลิน” น่าจะอยากได้ฟีลเดินเล่นย่านรัชดาแบบไม่ต้องวางแผนเยอะ เราเลยสรุปเป็นไกด์เล็กๆ จากที่ไปเดินจริง เผื่อใครอยากแวะมาฆ่าเวลา/หาอะไรกิน/ถ่ายรูปแบบชิลๆ ในวันที่ไม่มีตลาดนัดรถไฟแล้ว 1) ถ้ามาครั้งแรก (หรือไม่ได้มานาน) ควรเริ่มเดินตรงไหน - แนะนำเริ่มจากชั้นล่าง/ชั้นใต้ดินก่อน เพราะยังเป็นโซน “มีชีวิต” สุด เดินซื้อของใน Tops แล้วค่อยไล่ขึ้นชั้นอื่น จะไม่รู้สึกว่าห้างเงียบเกินไป - ระหว่างเดินจะเห็นบันไดเลื่อนกับโถงกลางที่โล่งมากขึ้น บรรยากาศสบายตา เหมาะกับคนไม่ชอบความแออัด 2) ร้าน/จุดที่ยังน่าแวะ (กันหลงมาแล้วไม่รู้ทำอะไร) - สายกินเร็วๆ: แถวๆ โซนอาหารยังพอมีตัวเลือก กินง่าย เดินต่อได้เลย - สายเดินเล่น: โถงกลางห้างที่ตกแต่งไฟประดับตามเทศกาล ถ้าไปช่วงเย็นๆ แสงจะสวย ถ่ายรูปได้ฟีลเมืองๆ - สังเกตได้ว่ามีร้านดังอย่าง McDonald’s และร้านเดิมบางร้านที่ยังอยู่ ทำให้ไม่ถึงกับวังเวง แค่คนบางตากว่าเมื่อก่อน 3) โซนด้านหลังห้าง (จุดที่ทุกคนคิดถึงตลาดนัดรถไฟ) - ตอนนี้จะเห็นเป็นลานโล่ง และมีส่วนที่กำลังก่อสร้าง ถ้าตั้งใจไปเพื่อรำลึกบรรยากาศตลาดนัด แนะนำให้เผื่อใจไว้ก่อนว่า “ฟีลเดิมยังไม่กลับมา” แต่เดินดูพื้นที่ได้ เหมือนมาดูการเปลี่ยนผ่านของย่านรัชดา 4) เดินทางยังไงให้คุ้ม (ไม่เสียอารมณ์ตั้งแต่เริ่ม) - ไป MRT ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมฯ แล้วเดินเชื่อม/เดินต่อมาถือว่าสะดวกมาก เหมาะกับคนอยากมาเดินแบบรัชดาพาเพลิน ไม่ต้องวนหาที่จอด - ถ้าขับรถมา จุดที่รู้สึกดีมากคือ “ที่จอดหาง่ายกว่าเดิม” เข้า-ออกสบายขึ้น เหมาะกับคนแวะทำธุระแล้วเดินต่อสักชั่วโมง 5) แพลน 1–2 ชั่วโมงแบบชิลๆ (ตัวอย่าง) - แวะซื้อของ/เดิน Tops → หาอะไรกินรองท้อง → เดินสำรวจโถงกลางและชั้นที่อยากดู → ออกไปชะโงกดูด้านหลังห้าง → กลับเข้ามาถ่ายรูปไฟ/มุมโล่งๆ ปิดท้าย ถ้าเป้าหมายคือ “เดินห้างแบบสงบๆ” เอสพลานาด รัชดา ตอนนี้ตอบโจทย์มาก และยังเหมาะกับคนอยากมาเดินเล่นย่านรัชดาแบบไม่เบียดกันครับ
