This particular collection is so great, especially for those who want the STEAM in smaller, but effective doses. The tree stories in the book are independent but interconnected, each focused on the individual love stories of each lady main character.
In true Hazelwood fashion, the ladies are all pursuing a STEM career, making them gorgeous and super nerdy. What I love about this is that they are slightly awkward because of this and I can relate to each character because of that. I love reading about smart women because, as a smart woman, I struggle with relationships when guys think my intelligence is too intimidating.
Each short story is so beautifully written and just the right pacing. Hazelwood leaves you fawning over the guys and yelling at the book when they make drastic errors in their behavior. The characters leap off the page and you become invested in their stories and root for the ladies.
The steam in these books, too, are STEAMY!!! You will NOT be disappointed! They are beautiful scenes and leave you sweating.
