I love most parts of my job as a Marketing Manager such as the travel, creative freedom and social media creation.
However, there are a few parts I don’t love… and didn’t think I’d be doing. One of the biggest tasks I didn’t think I’d be doing as a Marketing Manager is labeling… SO MANY THINGS.
We exhibiting in trade shows and often bring samples to them but rather than having them professionally packaged, I am left to package hundreds of samples by hand.
Right now I am hand labeling 200 packages that will hold brownie samples at our next show. 🫠
I didn’t mind this task at first but after getting increasingly busier, this is a task that drains me.
The design part is fun but after that I get burnt out from this task.
I want them to be centered and perfect but also need to get them done ASAP so I can get back to my more important tasks like content creation and writing copy.
