How is AI changing your job? Or is it not?

I use AI every single day now and honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about it.

When tools like ChatGPT and Adobe Firefly first came out, I thought they were just fun add-ons for brainstorming. Fast forward a year, and they’ve quietly become part of my daily workflow. From drafting captions to visualizing campaigns to summarizing reports, I use it for everything🥲 What used to take me an hour now takes ten minutes. It’s amazing… but also kind of unsettling.

I catch myself wondering where the line is. Am I still being “creative,” or am I just directing an algorithm? I love the speed and inspiration AI brings, but I also miss that messy human process (the doodles, the brainstorming, the spark that happens when you’re stuck and then finally figure it out).

I’ve noticed a huge divide between companies that truly embrace AI and those that just talk about it. Some teams have integrated it into everything, while others still treat it like a shortcut or even a threat. In marketing, that gap feels especially wide.

For me, AI has made my job easier but it’s also changed how I measure my own creativity. I’m learning to use it as a tool, not a crutch, but it’s definitely reshaping how I work.

I also need to remind myself that it isn’t a person so when it doesn’t work as I want, I need to take a break and not yell at my computer 🤗

Do you think AI has actually changed your day-to-day at work, or is your company still trying to catch up?

Yes I think it has! But however I’m working in ai in public health and dentistry so I’m glad it has! I also use it as a tool not necessarily to fix all my work problems or solve anything for me! Just to enhance and I think it’s so helpful 🍋
