A little bit about me!
I usually don’t post full body pics but here goes nothing I guess. I’m what you’d consider medium sized I guess or maybe plus size depending on how you look at it. This summer has been a struggle for me honestly, although I’m finally in a healthy and happy relationship where I’m not questioned about my outfit I still struggle with my body image. I’m a 16-18 in clothes which is a 2xl in most places. I find it hard to wear nice things such as dresses, skirts, rompers and sometimes certain crop tops or halter tops. Bathing suits are even worse. I wanna wear cute bathing suits and sometimes even bikinis jump out at me but because of my size and shape I find it hard to commit to them. I constantly feel like I’m getting judged for what I wear because of my size. I have an hourglass shape but a round belly which sucks. I have thick thighs and short legs but also flabby arms. I try to step out of my comfort zone sometimes but it doesn’t always work out in my favor. Basically being self conscious sucks and I figured I’d share my experience and thoughts about it a little bit. I just want feel pretty in what I’m wearing and I feel like society’s standards for plus sized women is to basically cover up and forget about wearing anything remotely cute
