Finding my way back to me

The pictures are only a few things i’ve done to find my HER. There’s so much more we can do.

When you find yourself getting angry with people, agitated by their behaviors, start feeling like you’re existence is not being respected, find yourself bickering and arguing more than you’d like, find your feelings being hurt… you take a step back and focus on yourself. The longer you take to make that decision the faster and deeper you will continue to lose who you are…

I took a step back and re-examined myself and where I was. Who and WHAT i allowed in my life… and WHY i was allowing it. I had to sit down and write a list of the things i use to enjoy as a kid/teen and wrote down a list of things i’d enjoy as a woman and started from there. Sometimes you have to put your phone on DND and go enjoy your own company. And that’s what I did. I got self centered and began enjoying myself and my life. Doing these things boosted my self confidence, my self esteem and although i was already a resilient woman, my self care tightened up my EMOTIONAL resilience up even more. I no longer gave a damn what anyone thought. Not even family. And that’s the beginning of greatness. That’s the key to it all. Care less about what others think and care more about what you think and go from there. We can say it all day… but the real feeling of not caring what others think is EMPOWERING. To REALLY not care… humph! Don’t you want that feeling too?! Go and find your HER. I’d love to talk more about this. Comment below ♥️

... Read moreIn today's fast-paced world, it's essential to reconnect with oneself to achieve true emotional resilience. Prioritizing self-care can lead to profound personal growth. Begin by reflecting on activities you enjoyed in childhood; these can reignite your passions. Engaging in simple acts like buying flowers for yourself or practicing solitude allows you to appreciate your own company and feelings. Setting boundaries not only protects your mental health but also fosters personal growth. As you cultivate self-love, you may find it liberating to disregard external opinions. Remember, true empowerment comes from within. Focus on personal goals such as financial stability and hobbies that bring joy. Don't hesitate to dance in front of the mirror and embrace all that you are. Keep in mind that emotional well-being is a personal journey, and there’s no right or wrong way to embark on it. Embrace your uniqueness and allow yourself the space to grow beyond societal expectations. Self-care is not just a practice; it’s a way of life that fosters inner strength and authenticity.
