LETS CHAT new years goals!
Over the years I have found New Year’s goals kind of pointless. People set these goals for themselves and they lose motivation and then they’re disappointed and frustrated. So I’ve always saved myself the frustration and not set specific goals, instead having just hopes for the future. However, I am trying to learn how to build better goals, and there are a lot of things in my life that I want to improve. So this year I’ve decided to make a list of goals that I do hope to achieve in the next year, but they’re not limited to the next year. These are things I want to work on, but I don’t expect perfect achievement. Building healthy habits takes time. It’s okay if these things don’t stick. it’s okay if I don’t achieve these in a conventional way. The entire point of our time on earth is to learn and experience. So if it takes me longer to achieve my goals or if my goals adapt and change with me, that’s perfectly okay and normal.

Embrace your emotions rather than suppressing them, and learn to say no to overcommitting yourself. As you graduate and look for jobs, it’s vital to be financially responsible and invest time in relationships with family, friends, and partners. Lastly, consider donating items you no longer use to create space in your life for new experiences. Remember, it’s perfectly okay for goals to evolve; the journey is just as important as the destination. Reflecting on your goals regularly can help you adapt and stay motivated throughout the year, allowing for a fulfilling and growth-oriented experience.
I feel resolutions should be flexible. You never know what will happen in a year so some goals should be flexible.
