❓Have you seen all of these anime ❓ Artbook Tour
This sketchbook was definitely the PEAK of my inktober career 😂
I REALLY wish I could share more than 10 slides with you because it was so hard to pick only 10 favorites out of the 31 drawings I did that month!!
Each day I did a fanart as a tribute to one of my favorite anime. There are 8 different ones mentioned here... have you watched them all??
Honestly I haven't been watching much anime lately (or much TV at all)... because I am always drawing 😂 (and also wayy to addicted to YouTube lol) But I'm trying to watch a bit more sometimes. I just got around to finishing spy x family season 2 and it was really good
I am 99.9% sure I will never do another inktober this good 😂 mostly because idrk about inking and lineart and want to focus more on my own art style ... but this is a great challenge.

Seeing my Inktober sketchbooks always brings back so many memories! That year was truly special, and it makes me think about how much joy drawing anime fan art brings into my life. If you're feeling inspired to start your own anime drawing journey, or even participate in challenges like Inktober, here are a few tips I’ve picked up along the way – straight from my personal experience! First off, don't be afraid to just start! My Inktober challenge, which featured fan art from series like *Hanako-kun*, *Evangelion*, *MHA*, and even *Yuri on Ice*, was all about pushing myself creatively. For anyone looking to dive into anime drawing, especially beginners, I recommend starting with simple poses of your favorite characters. Whether it's an iconic anime boy or girl, focus on understanding basic proportions and how expressions convey emotion. Don't worry about perfection; the goal is to enjoy the process and learn. There are tons of fantastic, free resources online if you search for 'anime drawing tutorials' – they can be a huge help! Another fun aspect is experimenting with different art styles. While my Inktober focused heavily on ink and line art, don't limit yourself! Exploring techniques like 'flou art' with softer shading or digital blending can add a beautiful, dreamy dimension to your work. Imagine creating a ethereal piece inspired by Promised Neverland or a dynamic scene from Mob Psycho with a softer, more atmospheric touch. It’s all about finding what sparks your creativity and makes your art uniquely yours. And what do you do with all that amazing fan art once it’s done? Besides sharing an artbook tour, there are so many practical and fun ways to enjoy your creations! If you're like me and always looking for ways to refresh your space – or as we say in Japanese, '模様替えしたい' (I want to redecorate) – consider printing your favorite pieces. You can create custom posters for your room, smaller prints to frame, or even design your own unique bookmarks. For instance, after seeing prompts for 'Spy x Family bookmark image to print free', I got the idea to turn my own fan art into personalized bookmarks for my manga collection. It’s a fantastic way to personalize your space and keep your beloved anime close, whether it's characters from Avatar or *K-on!*. For those who love art challenges, Inktober is just one of many. Try themed drawing prompts throughout the year, or even create your own 'artbook' of sketches from your current favorite series. The beauty of these challenges isn't about being the absolute best; it's about enjoying the process, improving your skills, and connecting with a community of fellow artists. Every drawing, whether it's a quick sketch or a detailed illustration, contributes to your unique artistic journey. Keep drawing, keep creating, and most importantly, have fun!
